Hello Everyone,

A big Thank you to Steve Ashe for leading our class once again on our study of Phillip Yancy's The Book Jesus Read. This Sunday we studied the 5th session: Psalms. We learned that it's the largest book of the Bible and the most frequently quoted. In fact, Jesus referred to Psalms quite often during his teachings. It is called the "Poetry Book" and is divided up into 5 sections, although there really isn't any reason to the order, the Psalms seem to contradict each other since they are a compilation of thoughts expressed to God over 2000 years by various authors. David was a major contributor and encouraged everyone to be honest with God. God already knows our heart but it is for our benefit to express our true feelings to Him in order that He may help us.

May the Peace of God sustain you all this week!

Love, Beth Freehof
